My goodness, could it get any colder?
This arctic blast makes it hard to even get out of bed in the mornings!
I can proudly say that I feel as though I am over my complete and total exhaustion in the mornings, and have a little more energy to get out of bed and get dressed.
I’ve also found (as the bump gets bigger), my desire to actually get ready and pick out a cute outfit has dramatically changed. When I first found out I was pregnant, I pretty much wore leggings and whatever I found first in my closet. I was tired, bloated and just felt all the icks.
Now that I’m in my second trimester, my energy levels are finally gearing back up. Now, this doesn’t mean I don’t like to stay in bed a few extra minutes…but it’s nice to want to put time into getting ready again. I’m also looking forward to dressing the bump.
It has popped up (or should I say out) out of nowhere in the past week or so.
It’s been kind of fun, but also tricky! Dresses are my go to right now, as the buttons on my jeans are getting a little harder to come together these days!
That being said, I braved the cold, frigid, dreary temps this morning to snap a few pictures. I absolutely adore Monroe & Harlow and you’ve seen me wear several of her headbands before. She is so talented, and this burgundy braided knit headband might just be my favorite.
